The University Extension Programme (PEU) of the Universitat Jaume I has opened the call for abstracts for the twelfth issue of Memòria Viva, the annual journal of the Patrimoni (Heritage) project.
The journal rests upon three main pillars: the definition and updating of the concept of cultural heritage, its socialisation (heritage education and interpretation) and the search for exchange networks and models and the generation of knowledge, practice and experience linked to heritage (heritage communities).
The deadline for the submission of abstracts is 17 January 2020.
The abstracts submitted will be reviewed by a committee made up of representatives from local groups of the Patrimoni project and by specialist staff of the PEU, who may ask authors for further information before accepting their proposals. Memòria Viva is published in print and online in Valencian and in Spanish. Articles received in English will be translated into those languages. The English version of the articles will be included at the end of the journal. Authors of each of the papers selected will receive three copies of the issue in print format. They can also be accessed online and downloaded free of charge HERE.
